How do you take and score the quiz?

Short answer

Choose one answer per question:

A twin guest cabin with two separate beds and teak joinery
  • A = 0 points: Not established.
  • B = 1 point: Assumed, discussed informally or supported only by general marketing.
  • C = 2 points: Partly documented, with something important still unresolved.
  • D = 3 points: The stated evidence is available, reviewed and accepted by the appropriate decision-maker.

Add all 15 answers for a maximum of 45 points, then apply the deposit-hold rules below. A high total cannot cancel out a critical gap.

Use these rules consistently:

  1. Answer for what you can substantiate now, not what somebody intends to confirm later.
  2. If an answer describes several conditions, select it only when all are met. Otherwise choose the lower applicable answer.
  3. Unknown answers score zero. Do not remove questions from the denominator.
  4. Where a requirement genuinely does not apply, document why and complete the remaining checks. For example, an agreed no-APA arrangement still needs clear inclusions and exclusions.
  5. Evidence held by an authorised adviser can count if you have access to its conclusions and know who reviewed it.

Methodology: The questions, points, evidence standards and score bands are desk-designed recommendations. They are not statistically validated, an industry qualification, a safety inspection or legal, tax or insurance advice. Sources support the background facts—not the scoring thresholds.
