Which gaps override a high score?
For this desk’s conservative pre-deposit rubric, mark the result HOLD if any of Questions 2–7 or 12–15 scores below 3. These cover availability, financial exposure, passenger permissions, essential family fit, approvals, contractual exposure, insurance decisions and payment verification.

Also mark HOLD if:
- Question 8, 9 or 11 scores below 2; or
- Any essential crew, equipment, itinerary or contingency requirement remains unmet; or
- Any unresolved safety, legality, identity or beneficiary concern arises, whatever the numerical score.
A hold means resolve the issue before commitment, not necessarily reject the yacht. Request an extension or another option if the approval deadline does not leave enough time; do not award points merely because a deadline is approaching.
Example: Fourteen D answers and a B on payment verification produce 43/45. The result is still HOLD because Question 15 has not cleared. Strong cabin, itinerary and service answers cannot compensate for an unverified transfer destination.
Clearing every hold moves the proposal to final approval review. It does not instruct you to sign or send money.
